“Hey, I am Kirsti Prestmarken and born and raised on the country side of Norway..surrounded by fiords and ski slopes’design, fashion and art was early on a passion and later on these interests became my path to studio Kaape- a Scandinavian boutique interior design studio...pronounced KP ;)
I am an interior architect and the designer in charge in our studio and with a long term related team of architects, interior architects and designers we are looking back at an extensive portfolio since the start in 2015.
We have the capacity to project manage small to industrial size projects and our disciplined eyes ́ ensure design and functionality ́ evolves from concept to complex design completions, completed by as ́design and build
Our holistic approach evoke a prosperous, inclusive and resilient interior architecture, not lead by trends but more importantly driven to a sustainable and unique design based on your vision.

Studio Kaape works across locations, bringing together international influences and Scandinavian design values. Our approach is shaped by an appreciation for craftsmanship, thoughtful material choices and the way people experience a space. By drawing inspiration from different places and perspectives, we create distinctive hospitality interiors that balance creativity, character and purpose.
We collaborate with a trusted network of specialists, consultants and build partners, bringing the right expertise to each project. This allows us to adapt our team and approach to the specific ambitions, requirements and scale of every brief.
WORK PLATFORM & POLICY
Kirsti Prestmarken leads the design process, with additional team members and specialists involved according to each project's scope, timeline and needs.
We aim to work efficiently and thoughtfully, using digital platforms to support communication, collaboration and project coordination. Our approach helps us reduce unnecessary travel and paper use while working seamlessly with clients and partners across different locations.
While digital tools support much of our process, we recognise the value of being on site. Site surveys, material reviews and sample presentations remain important where needed to assess details, ensure quality and bring the design intent to life. We combine digital collaboration with in-person workshops and site visits when they add value to the project.
