Studio Kaape, pronounced "KP," is a boutique interior architecture studio with presence in both Oslo and London. Founded in 2015 by the Norwegian interior architect Kirsti Prestmarken.
We specialize in creating prosperous, inclusive, and resilient spaces that tell unique stories through timeless design..
“Studio Kaape co-exists with architects, interior architects and designers with the ability to manage small to industrial size projects. Our disciplined eyes ensure design and functionality evolves from concept to complex design completions, executed as ´design and build in collaboration with a long-term support of extensive building teams.
For each decision made we are responsible for our customers choices and for the planet. Our team strives for re-use, up-cycle and share the sustainability policy of designing interior architecture made with longevity that lasts!
We are located in the heart of Mayfair and share our office with the general building contractor Prime Property group . London has a magical drive, a free-spirit mentality and drives us to think´ out of the box.
On the other hand “you can take a girl out of nature…but you can´t take nature out of a girl”. Norway is close-to-heart and our Scandinavian roots and craftsmanship are fundamental in our practice.
We keep “rooted” with our Scandinavian colleagues and network in Scandinavia and have over the years been engaged in a vivid portfolio of projects.
I am very proud of the team and collaborators that have joined forces on the drawing board since summer 2015.
